New Project in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, 6″ Linepipe and Hot Formed Bends

OP Hawler Kurdistan Ltd. (Oryx) is the Operator of the Hawler concession in the Kurdistan Region
of Iraq. The concession includes fields in various stages of development. Oryx is planning to increase the production rate for the Banan field up to 30,000 bopd through the drilling of additional wells. Production from these wells requires processing to meet the Kurdistan Export Pipeline (KEP) export specification and transfer from Banan to the Company Early Production Facility (EPF) located in the Demir Dagh (DD) field, via a 16 km pipeline.

In order to meet this target oil production Oryx issued and publiced the purchasing tender about 6" Linepipe and Hot Formed 5D Bends. These pipes and bends should be suitable for the sour service requested to meet NACE MR0175. And the pipes will be coated with 3PE coating.
