1. Drawing Die and Lubrication
1.1 Choose the mould according to the tooling number specified in the detailed list of product names. The upper and lower dies and the pressing rings are fixed on the punch and the base of the press with studs and accessories respectively. The clearance of the adjustment circumference direction is uniform, and the difference is less than 1 mm.
1.2 Before each cap is stretched, check whether the tire die is loose and offset, and other defects. Only after it is confirmed that it is in good condition can it continue to be used.
1.3 Before drawing and pressing each product, it is necessary to remove the oxide skin, slag and other impurities on the workpiece surface of the tire mould, and to give the pulling ring a uniform lubricant. When the head is cold drawn, the upper and lower dies and blank holder face, the upper and lower sides of the blank periphery, are coated with lubricant.

2. Prepressing of blanks
2.1 In order to avoid wrinkling and bulging during the stretching of thin head, the blank can be pre-pressed twice to form an arch.
2.2 After pressing and convexity of jointed blank, magnifying glass should be used to strictly check whether there are cracks or not. Surface flaw detection can be done when there is doubt.
2.4 When pressing and convexity of jointed blank, cracks at welded joints should be removed, and weld repair and flaw detection should be carried out according to technological requirements.

3. Heating and stretching
3.1 Carbon steel head blank heating and final pressure temperature, special steel according to special process execution
3.2 When the process requires a head with a heat treatment verifiable test plate, the test plate should be charged with the head blank at the same time and discharged at the same time.
3.3 Carbon steel cap blank should be hoisted to the tire mould immediately after it is discharged from the furnace, and it should be adjusted quickly to ensure the stamping temperature of the head. The drawing speed should be uniform and suitable.
3.10 After demoulding, the product should be cooled below 550 C before it can be hoisted to prevent deformation.

4. Correction of shape
4.1 Cold orthodontics or local thermal orthodontics are allowed. Cold orthodontics can be carried out with a split die. When hammering orthodontics, it should be padded with a flat plate or a pad iron. It is not allowed to directly hit the workpiece.
4.2 After orthodontic treatment, check strictly whether there are cracks in the welded joint. If there are cracks, they should be eradicated and repaired according to the technological regulations.
4.3 Correction and repair welding must be carried out before heat treatment, and cold correction is generally allowed after heat treatment.
