180 degree steel pipe elbow
180 degree steel pipe elbow is one of steel pipe elbow.it hase two specification: Seamless Elbow: Nps1/2” to 24”, DN15-DN600, Butt Welded Elbows 24”-72”, DN600-DN1800.Beijing Metleader Pipeline Tecnhology lnc. Is main made pipe fittings and pipe flanges. Include pipe elbow, tee, reducer, caps and all kinds of flanges.
An elbow is a pipe fitting installed between two lengths of pipe or tubing to allow a change of direction.180 degree elbow flow direction change is 180 degree. It looks like the flow fluid get back to the same direction from the joint. The shape is like two 90 degree elbows welded together. It is also called “U bend” or “return bend”. 180-Degree-Elbow(return-elbow)

How to made pipe elbow?
One of the most common ways to make an elbow is to bend the hot core rod with a steel pipe. After heating the steel pipe at high temperature, the inner tools of the spindle are gradually pushed, inflated and bent the pipe. The application of hot core rod bending can make wide size seamless elbow.
The degree of spindle bending depends on the integrated shape and size of the spindle.
Advantages of thermal bending elbow use include
1. Production of finished products with a small thickness deviation
2. A stronger bending radius than other bending types.
3. The use of bending rather than prefabricated bending significantly reduces the amount of welding required.
This reduces the amount of work required and improves the quality and availability of the pipeline. However, cold bending is the process of bending a straight steel pipe at room temperature in a bending machine. Cold bends are suitable for pipes with an outer diameter of 17.0 to 219.1 mm and a wall thickness of 2.0 to 28.0 mm. The recommended bending radius is 2.5 x do. The bending radius is usually at 40D. By using cold bends, we can get small radius elbows, but we need to wrap the interior in sand to prevent wrinkles. Cold bending is a fast and inexpensive way to bend.
How to joint steel pipe elbow?
1.choose the same size elbow and steel pipe or steel elbow and steel tee
2.Remove rust preventive oil and welding bevel.
