Round carbon steel tubing properties
Carbon steel, also called carbon steel, is an iron-carbon alloy with a carbon content (wc) of less than 2%. Carbon steel generally contains a small amount of silicon, manganese, sulfur, and phosphorus in addition to carbon.
According to the application, carbon steel can be divided into three types: carbon structural steel, carbon tool steel and free-cutting structural steel. Carbon structural steel can be divided into two types: building structural steel and machine-made structural steel.

The raw material of the rolled seamless carbon steel pipe is a round pipe blank. The round pipe blank is cut by a cutting machine into a billet with a length of about 1 meter, and is sent to a furnace for heating by a conveyor belt. The billets are sent to a furnace for heating to a temperature of about 1200 degrees Celsius. The fuel is hydrogen or acetylene. Furnace temperature control is a key issue. After the round tube billet is discharged, it is pierced through a pressure perforator. Generally, the more common punching machine is a tapered roller punching machine. This punching machine has high production efficiency, good product quality, large perforation diameter expansion, and can wear a variety of steel types. After the perforation, the round tube blank is successively rolled by three rolls, continuously rolled or extruded. After extrusion, sizing is required. The sizing machine rotates into the steel embryo through high-speed taper drills to drill holes to form steel pipes. The inner diameter of the steel pipe is determined by the outer diameter of the sizing machine drill. After sizing, the steel pipe enters the cooling tower and is cooled by water spray. After cooling, the steel pipe is straightened. After being straightened, the steel pipe is sent by a conveyor belt to a metal flaw detector (or hydraulic test) for internal flaw detection. Problems such as cracks and bubbles inside the steel tube will be detected. After the quality inspection of the steel pipe, it must be strictly selected by hand. After the quality inspection of the steel pipe, spray paint with the number, specification, production batch number, etc. And lifted into the warehouse by a crane.

Carbon steel seamless steel tubes are divided into hot rolled (extruded) seamless steel tubes and cold drawn (rolled) seamless steel tubes due to their different manufacturing processes. Cold drawn (rolled) pipe is divided into two kinds of round pipe and special-shaped pipe.
