What is Carbon Steel Welding Neck Flange RF CL150 ASME B16.5?

Carbon Steel Welding Neck Flange RF CL150 ASME B16.5 is one type of pipe fittings. It refers to a flange with a neck and a round pipe transition and welded with the pipe. Welding neck flange is a disc-shaped part, which is the most common in pipeline engineering. Welding neck flanges are usually called high hub flanges. It is designed to transfer stress to the pipe, thereby reducing the high stress concentration at the bottom of the flange.
